Meet the Staff - Sarah Currie, DVM

I went to vet school at Oklahoma State University and joined the Pen Eq team in July of ’07. I love living in northern California because it’s such a beautiful area and there are so many things to do here. Also, people here really enjoy their horses and take excellent care of them. I enjoy horsebackriding, hiking with my dog, reading, painting, and traveling.
I have a three year old Labrador named Claire, an overweight cat named Spike, and a Morgan horse named JR. My animals are a huge part of my life and I enjoy every moment with them. My family lives in San Diego, which is great because I get to visit them often and definitely can’t complain about the weather down there. So far I'm having a great experience as an intern here at Peninsula Equine.
