Our 24-Hour Hospital is located in the Portola Valley Training Center. This location includes our surgery suite, nuclear scintigraphy machine, 10 stall hospital, overhead radiography, and multiple exam rooms equipped with stocks for all indoor examination and imaging needs.
Our Ambulatory Service Area
Our fleet of 5 ambulatory vehicles can service barns and backyards from the Peninsula through Hollister. Since we have merged with Steinbeck Country Equine Clinic, additional veterinary teams and ambulatory vehicles are now available to call on clients in the Salinas, Monterey Bay and Carmel Valley areas.
New Client Packet
If you are new to our practice and plan on using us for continued care, this is the packet to fill out. It provides us with the information we need to get you set up in our system and get acquanited with your horses.
Horse Show Client Form
If you are in town for a show and seeing us on the show grounds, this form is for you to fill out. It gives us a brief overview of the pertinent information we need to know along with directions on who to forward records to for any follow up care upon your return home.
Bone Scan Client Form
This form is specifically for those clients referred to us for nuclear scintigraphy (a bone scan). This form includes not only pertinent account information, but critical extra information to ensure we are ordering the right amount of technetium, as well as a FAQ section about the process.
Stall Info Card
Print, complete and post this form on your horse's stall to provide caretakers with key information. Or ask one of our veterinarians for a laminated card so you can write on/wipe off your horse's most recent information.
The professionals and staff of Peninsula Equine have dedicated themselves to providing high quality veterinary care and customer service. Our practice is constantly investing in new technology, medical equipment and facilities. Our commitment to excellence in patient care necessitates prompt payment and at the same time precludes the practice's ability to provide in-house financing. Therefore, payment is expected at the time of service for all in-house cases and payment within 30 days for in-field cases. Additionally to provide this billing option for field care, we do require a credit card securely stored on file with authorization to charge any overdue balances to the card. Payment can be made with cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or Care Credit. Our goal is to provide state-of-the-art veterinary care for your horses. This credit policy allows us to minimize outstanding payments, and in turn we can further invest in hospital facilities, equipment and training. With your help and cooperation we will continue to be able to provide the best possible care to horses throughout Northern California.
