Peninsula Equine Medical Center



Peninsula Equine is a state of the art, full service equine veterinary hospital which offers diagnostic and surgical abilities, located in the San Francisco bay area. Our dedicated and experienced staff are proficient in multiple aspects of equine medicine and surgery with special emphasis placed upon advanced lameness diagnostics, imaging, sports medicine, surgery, and intensive care cases.

Peninsula Equine also has a full service ambulatory practice, with six fully equipped vet trucks. While the practice is centered in Menlo Park and we cover an area ranging from Half-Moon Bay to Gilroy-Hollister area. This service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so no matter when or where you need us, we will be there to give your horse the best possible care.

I was Born in Kortrijk, Belgium, where I spent most of my youth. It was at an early age that I was introduced into the world of horses. It soon became a passion, a passion I took over from my mother. I spent most of my weekends and vacations in the equestrian centre, where I started breaking and training horses for eventing. (on the picture you see me and my horse “Nikay”, she is seventeen and semi-retired, I broke her as a 3 year old and did a lot of three day events with her).
